The story behind Car-Tender

Car-Tender was started by people who've spent their careers inside dealerships. We've sat at the desk, written the appraisals, watched the back-and-forth, and seen firsthand how the traditional process treats people who just want to sell their car.

It's bad. You know it's bad. Long waits in showrooms. Lowball offers dressed up as "what the market is paying." Numbers that mysteriously change when you come back the next day. Trade-in math designed to obscure how much value is actually being captured by the dealership instead of paid to you.

After running multiple dealership rooftops and processing thousands of vehicle transactions, we kept coming back to the same question: why does this have to suck? It doesn't. So we built Car-Tender to prove it.

What makes us different
